Product Overview
Resistant dextrin is a starch-derived water-soluble carbohydrate, we usually called it be soluble corn fiber. It is a low-calorie dextran produced from starch through roasting and refining. It belongs to the category of low-molecular-weight water-soluble dietary fiber, appearing as a white to pale yellow powder with a slightly sweet taste and no other off-odors. It has good water solubility and is heat-resistant, acid-resistant, and freeze-resistant. A 10% aqueous solution is transparent or pale yellow, with a pH of 4.0–6.0, low viscosity, and high stability.

Resistant dextrin or soluble corn fiber be produced through heat treatment and enzymatic processing, but the specific process and related specifications, analysis reports, and other documents must be confirmed with the selected supplier Oriental Tongxiang international.
Key Benefits of Resistant dextrin / Soluble corn fiber
1,Inhibition of Blood Glucose/Insulin Levels:
It can slow down and inhibit the digestion and absorption of sugars in the small intestine. Gel formation prevents sugar diffusion and absorption, and it can alter the secretion of digestive hormones, reducing pancreatic juice secretion.
2,Low-Viscosity Formulation Options:
Resistant dextrin produced by Dongfang Tongxiang provides relatively low-viscosity dietary fiber, typically used in foods with a slightly thinner texture (lower concentration).
3,Mild Taste and Limited Sweetness:
Resistant dextrin usually has only a slight sweetness. Some commercially available products have a sweetness level approximately 10% that of sucrose. It has a high dietary fiber content.
4,Processing Flexibility:
Resistant dextrin has good heat resistance, acid resistance, and freeze-thaw resistance, meeting the needs of various product manufacturing environments.
5,Improved Lipid Metabolism:
Lowers cholesterol, increases HDL/LDL, and lowers triglycerides.
6,Enhanced Gut Function:
Increases beneficial bacteria, inhibits harmful bacteria, enhances intestinal tolerance, improves immunity, promotes bowel movements, alleviates diarrhea, and promotes intestinal peristalsis.
7. Weight Control:
Resistant dextrin has water-holding and volume-enlarging properties, which can regulate appetite and increase satiety.
Application Selection Guide:
The ingredient ranges listed below are preliminary research and development reference values provided by commercial suppliers. They are not universally recommended dosages, legal usage limits, or guarantees of finished product performance.

Frequently Asked Questions
1, Is resistant dextrin also called soluble corn fiber?
Corn-derived resistant maltodextrin/dextrin is often described as soluble corn fiber, a name included in the FDA's scientific review. However, resistant dextrin can also be made from wheat or other starch sources. Before using "soluble corn fiber" for a specific grade, verify the Oriental Tongxiang Supplier's origin and product documentation.
2, Is corn-derived resistant dextrin non-GMO or gluten-free?
Yes, Oriental Tongxiang can provide non-GMO resistant dextrin, and can provide non-GMO documentation as well as gluten-related testing or certification.
3, Can you supply COA?
Yes, Oriental Tongxiang can supply COA each batch and relevant MSDS if customer needs.
4, Do you supply sampels?
Yes, we can supply sample as per customer needs.
